Panel 1: Rose
is in the emergency ward, lying down on a curtained-off bed. Jennifer
peeks through the curtains on one side of the bed. She has a bandage on
her forehead (it's actually not the only bandage on her face, but the
others are under her mask).
Jennifer: Oh, hi.
Rose: Jennifer? How'd you get in here?
Panel 2: Jennifer sits down on the chair beside Rose's bed. She points at her bandage. Rose sits up.
Jennifer: I'm a patient, just like you. My lab equipment blew up in my face.
Rose: It...? When?
Panel 3:
Jennifer: 2:17 p.m., which I'm guessing is the same time your headache started.
Panel 4: Rose stares as Jennifer jerks a thumb at the curtains behind her.
Jennifer: And Kris had a minor heart attack.
Voice From Behind the Curtain: How did you know it was me? I mean...who's Kris?
