I don't know if he wants his last name revealed, but the real-life person who gave his name to the new character can now, at the very least, be known by his first name, Kris. Real-Life Kris is somewhat older than this character, who is a couple of years older than Jennifer (who is, in her turn, about a year older than Rose).

Panel 1: The Man helps Jennifer rise to her feet.

Man: Look, I'm really sorry--

Jennifer: Kris?

Panel 2:

Rose: You know this guy?

Jennifer: His sister's in my class.

Panel 3:

Kris: Well, that's vague. My sister used to be your best friend.

 Panel 4:

Kris: Then you broke her nose with your fist.

Rose [to Jennifer]: Why do I never hear these stories from you?
