| Panel 1: Because
confusion is fun, we're going into a flashback and will be using
multiple colours of caption box to represent the conversation between
Jack, Rose, and Iz taking place in the present day. Jack's box is
turquoise and Rose's mauve; Iz's hasn't turned up yet. In the
flashback, we see 2021 Jack wake up. This is actually a sequence we've gone through before. Jack was identifying as "they" at this time, but we will be using "he." Jack Caption: Fine. Thuis is a flashback. Rose Caption: Good. Jack [thinks]: Crap. Panel 2: Jack hurriedly gets dressed. Jack Caption: I was supposed to go to a certain place in March of 2021. I barely remembered in time. Jack [thinks]: Crap crap crap crap crap. Panel 3: Jack walks angrily down the street. He is wearing a mask. 2021, remember. Rose Caption: I thought you hated me at that point. Jack Caption: I hate you at this point. Jack [thinks]: Crap. Crap. Crappity crap. Panel 4: Jack finds a ragged, traumatised future Rose A kneeling in an empty lot behind a building. Caption Rose: Do you say things like that out of reflex? Caption Jack: Yes. Jack [points at Rose]: Crap. Rose A: What? Where? Alt-Text: Let's do colour-coded captions to CONFUSE EVERYONE TO THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT! |
