So in a nutshell: Iz is the wedge between realities. Rose and Kris are
sensitive to the split, but Iz is much more dramatically affected by it.

Jennifer: His existence is holding the realities apart, but they're trying to become one again. This may eventually kill him.

If it does, the realities will merge, and everyone from this one will
effectively cease to exist...or both realities will fragment, killing
us all.
