Merry
Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and just generally have a great holiday if
you're celebrating one, or a nice break if you're not. For your
amusement, here is what has happened during the last eleven years'
worth of INR Christmases:
2014: Rose has a proper conversation with Maggie for the first time and realises she is fated to be a time traveller.
2015: Jack sees a future Rose vanish in front of him and storms off to Rose's house to confront her.
2016: Rose and Kristi share information about the weird activities of Jennifer.
2017: Rose and Iz watch The Last Jedi, though admittedly, Rose has already travelled slightly into the future and seen it three times.
2018: Alex reveals that she, Radha, and Denise all know about the time travel.
2019:
Iz, straight out of an encounter with an injured future Rose who hates
him in a much less amusing way than Maggie does, resolves to figure out
how to change the very nature of reality (which is harder than it
looks).
2020: A future Rose turns up to give present Rose, who
is still recovering from her traumatic brain injury and has reached the
anger stage, therapy.
2021: An increasingly tortured Iz defies Mr. Jones and goes to see Rose at Christmas. Mr. Jones subsequently buys him a condo.
2022:
In Universe B, Fathima and Kai offer Rose Iz's apartment. Jack turns up
at the apartment during a Christmas gathering, wanting to talk to Iz
about his own shifting identity, and learns that Iz is in a coma. In
Universe A, Iz hits rock bottom. Jack turns up, wanting to talk to Iz
about his own shifting identity, and finds that Iz is worse off than he
is. He alerts Rose, who calls Iz's parents.
2023: In Universe B,
Rose, in hopes that she can save a dying Iz B, makes a deal with the
man whose name is not Casey. He pops into Universe A and gives Iz B a
hint about how to get home. Iz B works it out just in time, and in
Universe B, he opens his eyes.
2024: In Universe B, Iz comes home. And then...[TBC] |
