Special Valentine's Day Header: Rose
is visiting Iz in his hospital room. Thanks to artistic licence, she is
not wearing a mask so we can see her grin wickedly as she holds out a
large, violently pink teddy bear with red hearts for eyes. Iz is
wearing his patented "Ohhhh crap" look. Beside Rose are the words "It
Never Rains" and "by Kari Maaren."
Panel 1: Rose is sitting on her couch with Jennifer and Denise.
Denise: How did he survive that?
Rose [shiftily]: Nobody knows.
Panel 2: Denise and Jennifer regard Rose with scepticism.
Jennifer: What did you do, Rose?
Rose: Who, me?
Jennifer: My readings this week have been wild. You did something.
Panel 3:
Rose: Nothing. Honestly. He just...woke up.
Panel 4: The scepticism has not abated.
Rose [thinks]: I'm sure the deal I made with the creepy immortal has nothing to do with that.
Denise: You're not telling outrageous lies. Clearly, you're hiding something.
