Because it now is, or should be, apparent that Iz B is probably going to be okay (though not immediately, as one of my least favourite tropes is the one in which the coma patient wakes up and immediately springs out of bed, cured), I've decided that the character page needs a bit of an update. However, I can't update the character page because it needs to be spoiler free for people reading through the archives. At the same time, I can't not update the character page because the thing with the two universes is, I suspect, not un-confusing at times. What's the solution? Why, two character pages, of course. If Rose can replicate herself when she needs to, so can the INR character page.

Therefore, there's a new link at the top of the original character page. It will take you to a secret second character page. Many of the entries are the same, but a few have been updated, a few have got new pictures (just for instance, Alex is now fifteen, not five, and it's time to acknowledge that), and two of the characters have split in two. Most of the vagueness on the original page is gone; Maggie, Mr. Jones, and Weird Beard are all identified clearly. Iz B's portrait is jumping the gun a bit, as it shows him sitting in a chair, and he's not actually going to leave his bed for quite some time. However, I tried to draw him in a bed, and I was very bad at it. I also took Iz A a little into the future and gave him slightly (but only slightly) less messy hair.

Panel 1: We're now going to go back to calling "Iz B" just plain "Iz," as there is only one of him in Universe B, and his consciousness appears to have returned to his body. Rose is in Iz's hospital room and has just noticed that he has cracked open his eyes. He has not otherwise given any indication of awareness. Rose drops his hand in shock.

Rose: What...?

Panel 2: She seizes him by the chin. His eyes remain open, but he doesn't respond.

Rose: Iz? Iz?

Panel 3: Rose looks frantically around the room.

Rose: I need a button. Where's the button? There's supposed to be a button!

Panel 4: Rose touches Iz on the shoulder.

Rose: Don't die while I look for a button!

Rose: I am very much panicking!

Alt-Text: He probably is too. He just can't move.
