Panel 1: Over
in Universe A, back in March of 2023, Iz A and Maggie are sitting on
the ground at night, leaning against each other. Iz B, the disembodied
comatose Iz from Universe B, is listening in.
Iz B: Other Iz doesn't remember Maggie confronting him about the text.
Maggie: Iz, I'm sorry, but we can't sit here forever.
Panel 2:
Iz A: I wish we could. I'm so tired.
Iz B: What if he hasn't just forgotten?
Panel 3: Maggie places a hand on Iz A's chest.
Iz B: What if Maggie talked just to me...not him?
Maggie: The future's going to happen whether we want it to or not.
Panel 4: Maggie is gone. Iz A closes his eyes and bows his head.
Iz B: But which future?
Iz B: And how do I get back to the right one?
