Universe A, back in early March of 2023, Iz A is sitting on his couch
and staring at his phone. Iz B, the inaudible disembodied Iz who is
comatose back in Universe B, is listening in.
Iz A [thinks]: I...I can't talk to Rose.
Iz B: Yes, you can.
Panel 2:
Iz A [thinks]: If I do...I'll tell her about Mr. Jones. And then we'll stop being friends.
Iz B: No, you won't. Tell her.
Panel 3:
Iz A [thinks]: She deserves to know. She needs...why am I such a coward?
Iz B: Good question.
Panel 4:
Iz A [thinks]: I just can't talk to her.
Iz B: I've never wanted so badly to kick myself in the teeth.
