in April of 2022, over in Universe A, we have finally reached the end
of the very long day in which Iz inadvertently split reality in two
(probably). Iz A is lying in bed and in the process of falling asleep.
The disembodied voice of Iz B is still very much awake.
Iz B: The "two timelines" possibility is probably my best-cased scenario here. So assuming it's true...
Panel 2:
Iz B:
...what's happened to the me in the other universe? Has he disappeared?
Is he unconscious? Is he walking around and doing things on his own?
Panel 3:
Iz B:
How would that even work? No, I have to go with "disappeared" or
"unconscious." And since I have no body of my own here, it's probably
"unconscious."
Panel 4:
Iz B: Logic is so much easier when you're a disembodied presence at the back of your own mind.
Iz B: Huh.
