| Panel 1: Rose, wearing pyjamas and with her newly white hair loose, walks sleepily down
the corridor between her bedroom and her living room. She passes a
photograph of what seems to be Iz's family a long time ago. Kai and
Fathima (whose hair is black) are smiling; a child version of Iz stands
(probably on a box, as he is only three or four) beside his sister Lei,
who is in her early teens. Panel 2: Rose exits the corridor to find herself confronted by an angry Maggie. This is a completely white-haired Maggie, a bit thinner than the Maggie we usually encounter, and yes, before the conspiracy theories start up, we have seen her before. She is the oldest version of Maggie we know of. Maggie: What the hell are you doing here? Panel 3: Rose: I live here? Maggie: No, you don't. Rose: I do, though. Maggie: This never happened. Panel 4: Rose: It's happening right now. Maggie: I don't accept that. Alt-Text: I also have a hard time accepting things that are happening right now, and I'm not even a time traveller. |
