Panel 1: In
a room that has "community centre basement" vibes (whiteboard on the
beige wall, those burgundy dividers you only ever see in community
centres, schools, and churches), Rose shakes hands with a white man in
his late thirties. Both of them are masked. On the whiteboard, we can
see "Tuesday [arrow] call Bob" and "$702."
Basil: Basil Shaw.
Rose: Rose Malory.
Basil: Nice to meet you.
Panel 2: They sit down on horrible metal folding chairs. You know the type.
Basil: Do you understand what we do here, Rose?
Rose: I think so.
Basil: You don't seem happy about it.
Panel 3:
Rose: I'm twenty-four and have never had a real job. I've just failed at getting one again.
Basil: Try not to think of it that way.
Panel 4:
Basil: Failure is basically just pre-success.
Rose: No. No, it is not.
Alt-Text: Sometimes, failure is VERY pre-success. And sometimes, it's just pre-failure.
