Panel 1: At Rose's house, Rose is preparing to go to the university. She's got her backpack on and is holding her white cane. The phone in her pocket dings. Denise, who is standing nearby, notices.

Denise: Iz again?

Rose: Probably.

Panel 2: Rose pulls out the phone and shows it to Denise.

Rose: He keeps texting me sad little emojis, but when I ask him what they mean, he doesn't reply.

Panel 3:

Rose: Well...I can't worry about it right now. I have to go watch Aunt Barbara get unreasonably passionate about Victorian poetry.

Panel 4:

Denise:
She waves her arms around a lot, doesn't she?

Rose [waves her arms around in imitation of Barbara]: "Heed the words of Tennyson! Something about King Arthur!"

Alt-Text: You're not really teaching if you aren't waving your arms around a lot.
