Panel 1: Rose
and Denise are standing outside Denise's bedroom, which seems to have
been overrun by one time-travelling mouse who has duplicated herself
many times.
Rose: How long do mice usually live?
Denise: I Googled it a while ago. Two years on average, though some do live longer.
Panel 2:
Rose: You've had her for just over two years. And she time travels a lot. She may even be three or four by now.
Panel 3:
Rose: Maybe there's no scary sciency explanation. Maybe she's just nearing the end of her life.
Panel 4:
Rose: Maybe she died last year, and these are all time-travelling past mice.
Denise: You're making it creepier!
Alt-Text: The mechanics of mouse time travel are very odd.
