Just a short note:

The comic's been late a lot in 2020, and I think we can probably blame that mostly on 2020. However, the Friday comic will almost inevitably be late--possibly a couple of days late--because I'm having surgery on Thursday. It will show up eventually. I just don't know exactly when. It probably depends on what the pain pills do to my brain.

Panel 1: Rose lies on her back on the floor. Alex kneels next to her.

Alex: Do you need me to help you stand up?

Rose: No, I'm good.

Panel 2:

Alex: Really?

Rose: I fell...down on purpose. I like it on...the floor.

Panel 3: Alex stares at Rose.

Panel 4:

Alex: 'Cause I could easily help--

Rose: So comfortable. Like lying on a cloud.
