Panel 1: Rose stands in the cramped little room in 1896. She spreads her arms to feel her surroundings.
Rose [thinks]: Okay, it's happened again. No biggie. But this doesn't feel like the room I started in.
Panel 2: Rose rummages around on the shelves lining the little room. She picks up a roughly oval object.
Rose [thinks]: Are these...potatoes? And carrots? And I think these may be apples...?
Panel 3: Rose stands in the dark, holding a potato.
Rose [thinks]: Evidence says: root cellar. This must be before Jennifer's lab building even existed. Maybe way before.
Panel 4: Abruptly, Maggie is standing beside Rose.
Maggie: You are, in fact, lucky you didn't end up jumping into solid packed earth.
Rose: Well, that's my nightmares covered for the next six years.
