| Panel 1: Rose, dressed as an old-timey schoolmarm, stands in front of a blackboard, holding a pointer. Old-Timey Rose: At this point in the story, Rose has two options. Panel 2: Old-Timey Rose uses the pointer to indicate the words "1. Come clean" on the blackboard. Old-Timey Rose: Option one: she comes clean to Kristi, who, after all, just wants to find her brother. Panel 3: Old-Timey Rose now indicates the words "2. Add to list." Old-Timey Rose: Option two: she adds to her lengthening list of increasingly ridiculous lies. Panel 4: Back in the real world, Iz and Rose sit with Kristi on Rose's couch. Rose [to Kristi]: According to her journal, Jennifer knew you were there. She must have tricked you with science. Rose [thinks]: Option two it is. Go to commentary |
