Update on the Wacom situation: there is no update. The driver still won't talk to the hardware. The Wacom people haven't got back to me. I'm editing and colouring the comics with my mouse, which is not exactly fun. I guess it's a good thing I still actually draw them on paper.

Panel 1: Rose sits cross-legged on her bed, listening to a message on her phone.

Voice: Hi, Rose? This is Ellen Sing returning your call. We're totally interested in you joining us.

Panel 2:

Voice: We're a new paper, so we're spending the summer organising everything for a real opening in the fall. Our next meeting's on Friday at four if you're interested.

Panel 3:

Voice: Will you have, like, a guide dog? 'Cause John is totally allergic. But it's okay because we're all very aware of our privilege and happy to listen as you describe the disabled experience.

Panel 4:

Rose: Hoo boy.

Voice: You can be our disability reporter! That's a thing, right?
