| Good news, everyone: It Never Rains has just won a Prix Aurora Award
in the Graphic Novel category. The Auroras are basically the Canadian
Hugos; they honour SF-flavoured works published in Canada in the
previous year. Because webcomics are, for the purposes of the award
categories, considered "professional" works, they end up in the same
category as the print comics. I also won for Best Fan Music, so I got to carry two extremely spiky awards home from the ceremony yesterday. At any rate, It Never Rains is now officially an award-winning comic. Wahoo! |

Panel 1: In the rec room in Rose's basement, Alex is sitting all scrunched up on the couch, looking solemn and contemplative. Rose approaches her. Rose: Hey, Mini-Me...what's up? Panel 2: Rose sits. Alex: Today in school, we learned that two plus two plus two is six. Panel 3: Alex: And then we learned that three plus three is also six. Panel 4: Alex: Nothing makes sense any more.
