| I have done a guest comic over at Rock, Paper, Cynic, an awesome webcomic about turtles, philosophy, and occasionally puns. Those of you who have received your copies of the West of Bathurst
book may recognise the comic's author, Peter Chiykowski, as the creator
of one of the guest comics produced for that mighty tome. Peter chose
to focus his guest comic on one of his few recurring characters, the
Pun Detective. Now, I love the Pun Detective with all my heart, which
is strange, as I do not cope well with puns. Perhaps my pun antipathy
is due to my natural inclination to pun, against which I struggle
daily. At any rate, I have also focused on the Pun Detective in my
guest spot. I tried to make the comic into a hybrid of my style and
Peter's; I can't draw characters Peter's way, but the font, shading,
and backgrounds are closer to what Peter usually does than they are to
what I usually do. |
