a sandwich. Out in the hallway, something goes "clang."
Panel 2: Maggie jumps behind the couch, leaving the sandwich behind her.
Panel 3: Rose passes through the living room. She doesn't notice the sandwich.
Panel 4: Maggie's hand creeps over the back of the couch, aiming for the sandwich.
