My friends Debs and Errol, who have, for the last few years, been in a band that is also called Debs and Errol, have decided to, well, disband. Tonight, they will be holding their final concert.
I've
known these guys for a few years now, and I've always admired their
stage presence; they play off each other beautifully during
performances. They've also both become good friends of mine. Though it
does hurt to see the band end, sometimes these things just have to
happen. Therefore, let us play them out with a comic about "Narwhal Pet,"
which I think is ultimately my favourite song of theirs. They have done
songs that are more side-splittingly funny, more musically intricate,
and certainly more infested with zombies, but "Narwhal Pet" somehow
captures the patented D&E innocent, carefree tone while still being
an unavoidable earworm. |
