Panel 1: We have returned to the nightmarish cave-like prison featured in the very first It Never Rains comic. Rose, as a prisoner, sits on a mound and speaks into a recording device. Rose: Day four hundred and ninety. Situation has not improved. Panel 2: Rose: Still trapped in a reasonable facsimile of Hell, I am not bereft of not just hope but also answers to the questions that plague me. Panel 3: Rose: Why is this happening? Why am I here? What is this nagging voice that ceaselessly penetrates my misery? Voice from Off-Panel: Hey, Rose... Panel 4: Rose is sitting in a classroom. Iz, who is sitting in front of her, has turned around to stare at her. Iz: We're in class, in case you hadn't noticed. Rose: I was trying not to, thanks. Go to commentary |
