| I've put up a new West of Bathurst Kickstarter update. Long story short: progress is slowly being made, Martin and I are toiling on this thing constantly, the surveys will likely be sent out soon, I need to put together a pre-order page, and Peter Chiykowski, one of my two guest artists, has sent me his beautiful comic. As well, since I posted the update, I have taken the plunge and ordered shiny objects for people who pledged at the higher tiers. They'll probably take at least a couple of weeks to get here (there's a 10-15-day wait on orders), but I've paid for them, so there's that. I'm quite pleased with my somewhat weird choice of shiny object. And no, you can't know what it is yet. I want it to be a surprise. |

Panel 1: Rose, clutching her arm, lies on her back at the bottom of the steep hill down which she has just fallen. She has lost her glasses. Maggie sits beside her. Rose: Who-- Maggie: Stop wriggling; you won't be able to get up. Panel 2: Maggie picks up Rose's glasses. Maggie: You've broken your collarbone, three ribs, and two bones in your arm. Here, put these on. Panel 3: Rose, now wearing her glasses, stares at Maggie. Panel 4: Maggie: So I'm Maggie. Rose: Nice to meet you. Go to commentary |
