Panel 1: Rose and Iz continue along the street together. They are approaching a panhandler who sits on the sidewalk in front of the stone wall of a building. The panhandler, a bespectacled woman, is bundled up in a grey hoodie, a tuque, and gloves. Her cardboard sign is almost too small to read, but the first three words do, indeed, say "IT NEVER RAINS."
Rose: Are you so intrigued by me that you're going to follow me all the way home?
Iz: I'm not intrigued by you. I--oh, wait--
Panel 2: Iz rounds on Rose.
Iz: You're going this way? Why would you do that? Why would anyone do that? I'm not going this way. You're crazier than I thought.
Panel 3: Rose and the panhandler gaze after Iz, who has presumably stormed away back the way he came. The panhandler's sign is now wholly legible. It reads: "IT NEVER RAINS CONSULTING $1."
Rose: Great...now I'm intrigued by him.
Pandhandler: If you give me a loonie, I'll tell you why.
Alt-Text: Damn it...she was being so beautifully detached and sarcastic!
