celebration of the fact that my marking is finally done, have two

the monsters that used to be a big part of the midwinter season and

Panel 1: Rose and Iz are sitting on the couch at Rose's house. Rose's mother, Claudia, approaches.
Claudia: Hi, Iz. Time for some cookies?
Panel 2: Claudia leaves.
Iz: I'm not sure why, but I get the feeling your moms've liked me a lot more since I helped you in the park.
Panel 3: Claudia returns with a plate heaped with cookies.
Claudia: There are six kinds. We've got more for you to take home if you want.
Panel 4: Radha, Rose's stepmother, comes up beside Claudia.
Rose: The signs are just so subtle.
Radha: Also, there's this giant chocolate Santa Claus we happen to have.
